Looking for an awesome kids’ party without the stress?
Parents book us for our energy, music selection and authentic engagement with the kids.
By connecting with the children from the outset, we inspire kids to DANCE, EXPRESS THEMSELVES and HAVE FUN through music. The party is ALL about YOUR KIDS and making it EASY FOR YOU.
We’ve run thousands of kids’ parties and school discos in the Northern Beaches, North Shore and across Sydney metro area.
We know how to structure your party by using age-appropriate music, games & dance-offs to make the party a real hit. Once we arrive at your place we confidently take control of the entertainment (taking care of food/rest breaks and cake time) which means you get to relax and enjoy the party too.
Kids have pretty sophisticated taste in music these days so our parties are aimed at kids that want a ‘cool & fun’ edge to their party with the latest hits & crazes and something that caters for both girls AND boys.
You want your kids to say “That was the best party ever!” And you want to remember the party for years to come, not because it was stressful, but because it was fun!
Are your discos for birthday parties only?
Our disco parties are perfect for kids’ birthdays, Bah Mitzvahs, christenings and Christmas parties
What’s the best age-group for your discos?
DJ KitKat kids parties suit children aged 5-13 years, or kids who have started school – and parents are welcome to dance too!
We can disco anywhere!
Parties can be held in your home, backyard or local hall. We simply need power supply & we take care of the rest
Do you have public liability insurance?
We are fully insured and trained and all of our hosts have been Working With Kids checked and approved
We tailor each of our kid’s disco parties to suit your child’s age, gender and taste in music to maximise participation
(and so that you can enjoy the party too!)
Typical running time & party structure
All of our kid’s parties run for 2 hours and include 2 x sets of music with food served in-between and cake at the end.
We arrive 15 – 30 minutes early to set-up
We play music, dancing and games for 2 hours
At half time we stop for a food and drink break – during these 15 – 20 minutes we’ll keep playing music and apply temporary tattoos
We finish up the party with your favourite finale song(s), hip hip hoorays and cake
We then pack up and remove all of our equipment which generally takes 20 – 30 minutes
Our clients keep coming to us because they’re after something special.
And that’s what we give them….
Thank you so much for doing such a brilliant job at Max’s 6th birthday party. It was so lovely to see the delight & excitement on their little faces as they got into the games and music. I was completely in awe of how well you engaged the kids from the minute your arrived and was really impressed by how you knew all the kid’s names by half-way into the party – you could see how special it made them feel. Many of my friends have commented this week about how much fun their kids had. Just like many of my friends, I will definitely be recommending you

Q: What type of games do you play?
Dance-offs & Games can include:
• Age-appropriate/as requested: Macarena, Chicken Dance, Gangnam Style, Nutbush, signature dances from kids movies & sound-tracks
• Team Dance Battles and other Musical Competitions, classic Musical Statues, Limbo, Twister, ‘Hugs’ game and more!
Q: Do you do 1-hour discos?
Sorry, we don’t do 1-hour discos – too much equipment to unload (not to mention set-up & pack-down time) for only 1 hour! Thanks for understanding 🙂
Q: Do you do birthday parties for under 6-year-olds?
We don’t usually offer discos for under 6-year-olds due to their shorter energy/attention spans. We usually advise parents of 4-5 yr olds to have a character party (Fairy / Superhero etc.) which has a disco component in it: we change activities every 30 mins, includes face-painting. If you are interested, please go to my other children’s entertainment for 4-5 year-olds at www.fairysprinkles.com.au
